Configure ARRI Trinity/Maxima with RDX

Setup Steps

The video contains the following setup steps.

1. Apply Suggested Settings in ARRI GUI App
2. Preparing Communication

• Check Inertia Wheels firmware
• Version 2.2.1 or newer is recommended
• Configure Inertia Wheels for RDX

3. Connecting RDX to Wheels

• Check RDX firmware once connected
• Version T.1.4 is recommended

4. Pairing Jeti Radio to Trinity/Maxima
5. Remove Drift Using Analog Adjust

GUI Settings

In the Desktop App, open the Profile page.

In the Joystick section set:

For Roll:

• Direction: Std
• Speed: 100
• Mode: Angle

For Tilt:

• Direction: Std
• Speed: 100
• Mode: Speed

For Pan (Maxima Only):

• Direction: Std
• Speed: 100
• Mode: Speed

For Delay:

• Tilt: 1
• Pan: 1
• Deadband: 2-10
• Ramp: 0

[i] Use dead band to tune out any unavoidable drift. But use with caution as it will remove the ability to control small/slow moves.

Write the settings to the Trinity/Maxima.
